Meet Jana and Bethany
Jana Parker
MS, LEP, ABSNP, ADHD-CCSP
Jana Parker, a Licensed Educational Psychologist, Board Certified School Neuropsychologist, and Certified ADHD Professional, is a distinguished figure in the field of educational psychology. As the CEO and Founder of Mind by Design and Empower LEP, Jana has dedicated her career to helping families understand and support their children's educational needs and encouraging fellow LEPs as they strive to do the same.
Her experience spans from working with special needs students from preschool through adulthood to serving as an administrator for special education programs in public education. Jana's expertise is not just in her academic credentials but also in her practical experience. Her work in public education as a school psychologist and an administrator for special education programs has equipped her with a deep understanding of the educational system, both public and private.
As a leader in her field, Jana has contributed significantly to professional panels and workshops for various school districts, private schools, and school psychology associations at local, state, and national levels. She is deeply invested in coaching parents about the educational system, offering guidance to those in the profession, and forging the path for development in the field.
When she's not immersed in her professional endeavors, Jana enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, engaging in physical fitness, savoring good food, and spending time outdoors.
Bethany Zoeller
MA, LEP, CCATP
Bethany Zoeller, a Licensed Educational Psychologist and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, is a prominent figure in the world of educational psychology. As the President of Insights Assessment and Counseling, Bethany has devoted over a decade to providing psychological services to children, adolescents, and young adults, primarily in Kern County, CA.
Her career has been marked by a diverse range of roles, including serving as a school psychologist and educational consultant for various public school districts throughout Kern County and holding an adjunct faculty position at Fresno Pacific University's Pupil Personnel Services Graduate Program. Her comprehensive approach combines clinical skills with a deep understanding of educational systems, making her a valuable resource for both new and experienced LEPs.
As the founder of The LEP Collaborative, Bethany is committed to supporting fellow Licensed Educational Psychologists, fostering professional growth, and enhancing the quality of services in the field.
Outside of her professional life, Bethany is a dedicated wife and mother of two. Her Christian faith plays a significant role in her life, and she is actively involved in her church community. Bethany's personal interests include reading, dabbling in DIY furniture building, spending quality time with her German Shepherd, Lucy, and exploring new recipes on Pinterest, even if they remain untried.
